Upload Photo on Cover Page (SAM's Photo Repository)
The Photo for Cover Page is a repository of photos added to the client record. This field can be added to view forms and allows users to upload, set a default photo, and delete photos from the repository.
|
In SAM, open entity's record > click Upload Photos for Photo field > Choose File and upload from your device > optional: enter date and memo > Save |
When files are uploaded into the Photo field(s), a Document record is created with Document Type = Photo to reference the full size photo.
Manage, Edit and Delete Photos in Photo Repository
Once an initial photo is uploaded, SAM will offer management for additional photos. Click View/Edit Photos link from the kebab menu on the Photo pop-up.
- Upload Photo - to add new photos
- The navigation arrows scroll when multiple photos are uploaded
- Default Photo - set the photo to be shown on the forms if multiple photos are uploaded
- Delete Photo - delete the photo from the client's record
Photo Fields
Most entity types have a Photo field that can be used on edit forms, including public forms to allow users and end users to upload photos into the repository. These fields are found on the main entity table (Family, Child, Person, etc.) and are titled Photo. The Family table has Photo, Photo 2, Photo 3, Photo 4, and Photo 5.
The Photo field will display in the Photo Repository and Photo for Templates. Uploads directly through the Photo Repository will not feed the photo fields.
Photo for Template
This field can be used on view forms, reports, and templates to display the photo set as default in the Photo Repository.
