Highlights for this Release:

We listened and learned a lot from our September release. Aside from improvements to security functions, we've put an emphasis on making sure your team gets the communications you need about updates to SAM. 

• MFA Enhancements to remember devices
• Passwords can be reset by users, no longer requiring SAM Leads or SAM's Support team
• Client checklists are able to be viewed by all Users 
• Communication updates to login screen and access to SAM Lead's 
• We've added file types that SAM can accept, including .heic for Safari

Communication Updates 

• For future updates, we'll add a communication about upcoming releases to the login screen. We anticipate about 1 week prior to a release that a box will display with links to more info and important dates about the release. 
• We're going to begin communicating via email with all SAM Leads (Users with Full Admin access) that your team sets in SAM.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Enhancements 

• Remember this device is available to be enabled by SAM Leads for your organization. 
• Set 1, 7, or 30 days to remember devices dependent on your security policies. 
• Two reports assist with visibility to your team's use of MFA

  • User | Security | System-Emails Tracking

SAM Leads will need to enable Register this Device feature. See this guide for more on MFA. 

Password Reset Improvement

• User's can now reset their password without support from others
• This is a best practice for password security

Client Checklist visibility for all Users

• Finally!! SAM now allows all users (not just Full Admins) to view checklists from the client's perspective. 
• We received so much excited feedback on this function. We hope it helps you work better with families! ❤️

Updated File Types 

• We've updated SAM to allow more file types to be uploaded.
