SAM allows you to track fees for your services. There are a few opportunities to do that, which we'll talk about below. Note: these are technical guides to orient you with the options in SAM. Your accounting, IT, and SAM's Support Team will be useful when you're ready.
Adoptive Family Invoices / Receipts
Families that come to your agency to adopt often pay for your services and your fee schedule can be shown in SAM to send invoices and receipts.
What you need to read:
Credit Card Processing
Allow clients to pay online with SAM's credit card processing tool.
You'll need an Authorize.net account and a Merchant processor to setup.
Birth Mother Expenses
Some agencies are able to offer funds to expectant mothers to support them through their pregnancy. These can be recorded and in some cases passed to the adoptive family.
Foster Care Payments
There is nothing more complicated than processing care payments for children placed in foster homes. Each state and sometimes counties have different rates, for different levels of care, for different placement types. SAM can help you calculate the daily/monthly payment for your foster families, your organization and respite providers from the rates and a child's time in that placement.
