Open SAM and enter a communication along with us!
Communications
This is where the story lives. Log case notes. Track emails and conversations. Keep everything connected to the right record. Communications are available on every record in SAM — and it’s one of the sections your team will use most.

Templates are powerful tools.
Use templates to send personalized emails to clients, partners, or your team — such as progress updates, reminders, or notifications when forms are complete.
You can also use templates to generate printable documents, like face sheets, applications, or home study drafts, pulling information directly from a client’s record.
We’ve included a few guides with more details on Templates. Review them anytime for deeper learning.
Level Up Your Case Notes & Messaging 🚀
Ready to make SAM even more powerful? Start by syncing your team’s email accounts.
When SAM is connected to your email provider, your team can:
Send email templates directly from SAM
Trigger Auto Actions that send notifications automatically
Keep communication tied to the right records
Step 1: Authenticate Your Email
Each user will quickly connect their email account to SAM and set a default sending address. It only takes a few minutes per person — simple and guided, even if it sounds technical.
(See our Email Authentication guide for Google Workspace or Microsoft 365)
Take It Further
Once connected, you can enable Email Importing to automatically pull emails between your team and clients into SAM — no more copying and pasting. This feature alone can save hours every week.
SAM Leads can also manage everything from the Email Settings Hub under Settings, where they can view user connections, reports, and email-related settings in one place.
Set it up now, and let SAM start working on your behalf.
