SAM has reports to audit user's access and modifications to the site.
- Modification History - tracks modifications to SAM
- Activity Tracking - logs each page accessed by users
Modification History
Modification History is a record of changes to SAM. Details tracked about modifications include:
- User who made the change
- Date of modification
- Old value
- New value
A user must have permissions to access Modification History in order to view.
Access Modification History per Field

In SAM, click on a field value > click caret on Save > click View Modification History |
Access Modification History per Entity
View changes related to a particular entity. For example, view changes made to an entity's records, such as a family's household members, case, adoption records, or fees-expenses.

In SAM, open a Record > click Advanced Options (sidebar) > View All [Entity] Modifications A report will open specific modifications to that entity and its related records. |

In SAM, open a Sub-Record > click Advanced Options (sidebar) > View All [Record] Modifications A report will open specific modifications to that record. |

In SAM, from the Home Page > Report Menu (sidebar) > click View Reports by Entity Type > Modifications > click Modifications Report A report will open with system-wide modifications. This report may take a while to open due to the amount of history. |
Activity Tracking
Activity Tracking Reports log a user's steps through the site and monitors:
- Activity Type - successful/unsuccessful logins, pages viewed/edited, public forms access
- Page Name - specific pages accessed
- Page Link / Previous Page Link - direct link to where in SAM a user accessed and came from
- IP Address
