Filter Groups allow you to perform advanced searches and filters by grouping sets of filters together. So that you can perform advanced Searches such as "(State is GA or AL, and Case Stage is Waiting) OR (State is GA, FL or NC and Case Closed Date is empty)". Each set of parenthesis is a Filter Group, and you can use "AND" or "OR" between each Filter Group. Filter Groups can be used on:

Enable Filter Groups
The option to enable Filter Groups will appear below the Save button once you have at least 2 filters. After clicking on the "Enable Filter Groups" button, drop-down lists will appear at the end of the row, and the "Filter Groups Match" section will appear at the bottom. The Filter Groups are broken up using Alphabetical letters, and you can have up to 26 filter groups. To move a filter to a different filter group, just select the different letter from the drop-down list. An example of Filter Groups using State and Case Stage filters.
To Disable Filter Groups
To Disable Filter Groups click on the "Disable Filter Groups" link below the Save button. This will keep all your filters but they will no longer be in groups. "
