When a Checklist Configuration is modified, SAM does not update the Checklist that have already been triggered for records. In other words, records are grandfathered in and do not receive Checklist updates when the Checklist Configuration is modified.
SAM will not retroactively apply Response Times and Responsible Employee Checklist Configuration changes to existing Checklist Items because this could skew historical data.
To update a record's checklist to include the new configuration modifications:
- Delete the checklist items from the section(s)
- Insert the Checklist section(s) manually
- Select the Checklist section that you want to add.
Bulk Update - Responsible Worker
It is possible to use the "Bulk Update" functionality on a Report to update the "Responsible Worker" field, from one specific person to another. This would be used in the case if an employee takes over another's responsibilities. Just make sure to filter out the records where the "Date" is not empty, otherwise the new person will technically be given credit for the other staff's work.
