Invoices can be paid internally by SAM users or by a credit card from the Invoice recipient.
You can pay an invoice in full by clicking on the checkmark next to an unpaid invoice in the Invoice list. This will enter the current date as the Received date and enter the Fee Amount in the Amount Received fields for each Fee record on the invoice. Individual fees can also be paid via the checkmark corresponding to each fee.
To include additional details about the payment, use the Edit link for each Fee in the Accounting - AR Overview screen for the Family.
An Invoice can be paid from the Invoice Details screen. This will enter the total Amount Received for each Fee record and Received Date as the Current Date.
From an Invoice "Pay Online" link
When a recipient clicks the Pay Online link to use a credit card for payment, they will be taken to a form that presents the fees and space to enter their credit card information online. This functionality is only possible with CC Processing Integration through Authorize.Net.
Upon Submit, SAM will enter the Amount Received, Received Date and Credit Card Transaction IDs on the A/R record.
To include additional details about payments received relating to Organizations, click Accounting Details from the Organization Cover Page side bar, then click the Details link for the AR record to pay.
